Ahoy!

Went for a swim workout this morning and saw something truly impressive. Generally speaking truly huge people are often somewhat uncoordinated. They just seem to have a difficult time with proprioception. Those that aren't uncoordinated are typically snatched up quickly by football or basketball coaches. Well, this morning I saw an NFL-sized guy who swam like me. Didn't have quite the speed but the technique and comfort in the water was all there. It was really cool to see.

Ah yes...according to various news outlets we (that would be Minneapolis and the central plains in general) are about to get a snow beatdown. Awesome! Growing up I always considered myself a warm-weather person and I must confess that I probably do still prefer the sun and warm weather to anything else. But I've found that I really like having 4 "real" seasons.

I'm looking forward to a serious snowstorm and getting back out on the snowboard in real (not manufactured) snow.
